Some of the best coffee (16 oz mocha cold brew with oat milk) I’ve had!!!!! Owner is incredibly nice and personable!! Extremely reasonable prices too

Wow!! What a cool experience. We walked over from the Holiday Inn, about a 10 minute walk, and this coffee shop is tucked away in a bit of a corner but the owner, Lyle, is very friendly and the drinks were delicious! I got the blue poppy lemon latte and my husband got the Dragonfruit coconut iced matcha. The vibe is super chill and the building is shared with a dispensary, so it's a nice waiting area as well if you are needing to kill 2 birds with one stone. Definitely recommend stopping in to grab a quick drink and say hello if you are in the area!

This is the best place in town to drink good coffee. The owner is very friendly, knows how to make coffee, understands the roasting process, so you will definitely drink delicious coffee. Also the place is nice to enjoy a good cup in rain or in sunhine.

Proper shots. A true specialty coffee location that takes the craft seriously. Comfortable, welcoming location with a friendly staff and excellent coffee prepared artfully. Seems like a pretty simple recipe: great raw materials, flawless technique, simple.

Perfectly prepared coffee drinks made with small-batch locally roasted beans right across from the Lake Hood floatplane base. Watch planes take off in the summer while sipping on the creamy, rich mochas made with care by the owner, Lyle. Small selection of bagels and cookies (as of July 2025) so don’t expect too much in the way of snacks. But the coffee and vibe are worth it — we live on the other wide of town and make daily trips over here because it’s worth it.

Had the pleasure of spending a couple hours here sipping on a very good matcha. Husband had a perfectly prepared latte. The owner knows his stuff and takes pride in his work. It is very evident in the quality coffee here! The items on the menu are creative and flavorful. On a sunny day, they have garage door walls that can open up to the outside for fresh air. This is the must stop place to grab your cup of coffee.

Highly recommend stopping at Chugach Mountain Roasters before heading over to Lake Hood to watch the float planes! ☕️✈️ They've been roasting for 4 years, but just opened their first storefront. We tried the maple cinnamon latte and the Cadillac mocha (current special) and both were great! Subtly sweet so you can still enjoy the taste of the espresso. Cool garage doors let in light and fresh air if you want to hang out, but also just a short 2 min walk to some great picnic tables on the shore of Lake Hood, perfect for plane watching!

A REAL COFFEE - thank God!!! I’m from Australia and this was the first place I’ve actually been able to enjoy a real coffee since arriving to the U.S over 2 weeks ago. Lovely guy at front counter too (bearded dude in my photo) I’ll be back!!!

Super awesome place for coffee if you are in Ancorage! Nutty flavorful oat milk latte and regular milk flat white, and I even got a hand drip yesterday. ( way better than any coffee I got in NYC lol 😜) and if you are into drip bags, get a box of the drip bag coffee ( vibrate packaging and great roasted coffee) thank you!🤩 definitely will be back next time when I’m in town! Ps: super nice music and vibe too!
